| Job Description: |
1) Lead and manage all maintenance and engineering activities
2) Design, modify, purchase or improve equipment and/or processes
3) Bring cutting-edge ideas and technologies to the organization
4) Lead and manage a technical training and safety program
5) Oversee the maintenance of the building, grounds, equipment and plant facilities
6) Implement total preventative maintenance program
7) Manage GMP programs that are directly related to facilities (e.g. pest prevention program)
8) Develop and implement a safety program in compliance with all OSHA regulations
9) Select, develop, motivate and manage Direct Reports of maintenance technicians and engineers in completion of their assignments
10) Evaluate potential projects and conduct project feasibility analysis
11) Oversee, prioritize, direct and assign minor and major projects, including large-scale facility projects
12) Prepare and maintain the company’s capital budget and schedules
13) Research new equipment and process technologies; take risk to bring the company into the future
14) Develop and implement a technical training program for all maintenance technicians and equipment operators
15) Contract with and supervise all outside contractors as necessary

Skills Required:: |
1) Bachelor’s degree (4 year) in Engineering
2) Minimum 5 years of management experience in related field
3) Minimum 10 years’ technical experience
4) Start-up experience
5) In-depth knowledge of Six Sigma methodology
6) Ability to present to all levels within an organization
7) Exceptional organizational and time-management skills
8) Ability to multi-task and prioritize simultaneously
9) Strong customer service orientation
10) Strong project management and problem-solving skills
11) Excellent communication skills both – written and verbal
