Credit Analyst (contract to hire) Attractive Salary at conversion!
Large financial company in the Richmond, VA area is looking for a Credit Analyst to work with SAS to perform analysis that maximizes profits and/or asset growth and minimizes credit and/or operating losses and other risk exposures, providing analytical support.
Provide segmentation and monitoring of various credit, deposit and other product groups and develop trend reporting for management.
Assist in the development of programming models to extract data and/or assist in statistical and financial modeling.

| Skills Required: |
Required Skills:
* 2+ Years experience in mortgage credit/capital markets/portfolio management experience
* Excellent analytical skills with strong SAS skills.
* Degree in quantitative field such as, Statistics, Economics, Finance, Engineering or related field or equivalent work experience. MBA preferred.
* Make recommendations to management based on trends of delinquency, losses and overall profitability and performance. |
