The Teaching in China programme is an excellent way to learn about the Chinese culture and customs. The positions in China are for teaching English in schools and universities. Teaching time in China is usually 12 -19 hours a week. Each teaching period lasts from 40 minutes in primary schools and to one hour in the university.
For your work at a public school, college or university, you will likely be paid between 3,000 and 5,000RMB/month (roughly US$400-$620) in addition to free housing.
