| Job Description: |
This leading hospital based in Kuwait is seeking an experienced Dietician for a permanent role based in Kuwait.
In this role your key responsibilities will include as follows:
1. Provides for the assessment, implementation and evaluation for the nutritional care of patients including therapeutic care, nutritional supplements, nutrition counselling and patient evaluation.
2. Identifies nutrition issues, undertakes accurate calculations of eating plans and feeding regimens and communicates these to staff and carers in such a way as to minimise the risk of error.
3. Plans, recommends and monitors nutritional interventions.
4. Maintains accurate written records and data collection as required.
5. Participates fully in clinical governance and risk management and undertakes to use these systems for the protection of patients and improvement of the service.
6. Provides clinical training to dietetic staff and other health professionals, patients and their families.
7. Communicates and collaborates with other professionals concerning nutrition related issues.
8. Participates in research studies and clinical investigations as organized by the center.
Performs other professionally related duties as required by the organization.
To apply you will have a Graduate Degree in Dietetics or Food & Nutrition from an accredited university. Completion of an approved dietetic internship program is required; specialty certification in diabetics strongly preferred.
In return you will receive a salary of up to $44,000 USD Tax Free per annum plus free shared accommodation, flights, transportation, insurances, bonuses and other benefits.
