| Job Description: |
This leading hospital based in Kuwait is seeking an experienced Clinical Nurse Educator for a permanent role based in Kuwait.
In this role your key responsibilities will include as follows:
1. Plans, implements and evaluates educational and clinical programs to meet the learning needs of patients, family and staff.
2. Staff training includes induction, clinical teaching and in-service as well as developing and reviewing instructional materials.
3. Develops, communicates and evaluates standards, procedures and protocols.
4. Promotes innovation in practice.
5. Provides clinical and educational support to all those in the health care team working with people with diabetes in the primary and community care setting.
6. Provides education and advice to people with diabetes (and their families and carers), which supports them in managing their condition and helps them to adopt and maintain a healthy lifestyle.
7. Contributes to the planning and development of services for people with diabetes.
8. Participates in progressive improvement/quality improvement programs to improve clinical practice.
9. Participates in research studies and clinical investigations as organized by the center.
10. Performs other professionally related duties as required by the organization.
To apply you will have a Graduate Degree in Nursing from an accredited university. Five years’ recent related experience in clinical teaching inclusive of three years’ experience in the designated clinical area and any specialty certification in diabetics is strongly preferred.
In return you will receive a salary of up to $56,000 USD Tax Free per annum plus free accommodation, flights, transportation, insurances, bonuses and other benefits.
