| Job Description: |
The completion of the management of design contracts and coordination of the design with ongoing construction and site conditions.
Duties:
• Primarily responsible for the Co-ordination of effective & pro-active management of the
structural, architectural, hardscape and landscape design once this has been turned over to the
Project team by the Central Team Design Manager.
• In association with the Consultants and Client, identify latest (proven) technologies suitable for
use on the project for the various systems.
• Promote ‘commonality’ in the selection of equipment & materials, project wide, to benefit the
end user.
• Co-ordination of structural, architectural, hardscape and landscape activities with MEP AND
infrastructure works.
• Provide technical support for construction activities, as directed by the Project Manager.
• Identify best practice and pre-fabrication/standardization for structural, architectural,
hardscape and landscape works and use of effective standard forms and matrix for all
processes.
• Review of claims and payment applications submitted by designers
• Follow up for the permitting and statutory approvals directly with the designers
• Maintain a set of latest design documents
• Oversee prequalification, preparation and review of TOR’s, and submission of proposal & award process.
• Provide assistance in technical support and supervision of the pre-design, design, and tender
programs including solicitations of interest, prequalification, preparation review of TOR’s, calls
for proposals, adjudication and award recommendations.
•Assist to monitor A/E’s performance in the conduct of design programs according to the
established packaging strategy, including adherence to schedule, cost, and standards codes,
