The job incumbent is responsible for the performance of quality inspections of equipment, products, installations, etc. to determine their conformity with reference requirements (standards, specifications, regulation, etc). He usually carries out his tasks independently, with minimum supervision, and these may be on well-identified, or isolated assets, or on complex installations. The inspector may act in any field of the relevant Business line.
