| Job Description: |
The job incumbent is responsible for the performance of quality inspections of equipment, products, installations, etc. to determine their conformity with reference requirements (standards, specifications, regulation, etc). He usually carries out his tasks independently, with minimum supervision, and these may be on well-identified, or isolated assets, or on complex installations. The inspector may act in any field of the relevant Business line, within the scope of his qualifications and certifications.
- Review of applicable contractual requirements (technical standards, specifications, etc).
- Definition and review of Quality Plan and the relevant procedures
- Review and validation of inspection assignment documentation (technical aspects, reference documentation, schedule, milestones, reporting, logistics, co-ordination procedure, etc)
- Selection of the most appropriate inspection techniques
- Execution or supervision of inspection according to predefined Quality Plan, and to the established inspection procedures / techniques
- Execution of inspection reporting including treatment of non-conformities (NCR’s) and other applicable deliverables
- Ensuring quality of inspection according to Quality System
- Interpretation of results of inspections
- Treatment of the NCR’s and the corrective actions
- Review and appraisal of inspection procedures
- Maintaining internal and external communication
- Management of one or more inspectors
- Design and delivery of training for inspectors
- Promotes portfolio to clients
- Respects security guidelines of company and safeguards personal security in the working environment
- Actively participates in the sharing of knowledge and information (Knowledge management)
- Continuous learning and developing in his area of responsibility

| Skills Required: |
- (Advanced) Vocational training or equivalent qualification / experience
- Fully conversant with the key standards and inspection procedures for the concerned field (able to select most appropriate reference standard / inspection- criteria)
