| Job Description: |
Applicants must have a minimum of 6 years hands-on experience in this trade to qualify for temporary foreign workers status. 2 year contract to start with possibility of extensions and Permanent residency through the Provincial Nominee Program.
Description:Work primarily on transport truck &, trailer, with some bus and off-road equipment
Duties:
Interpret work orders and technical manuals
Keep equipment cleaned, lubricated, and maintained
Diagnose faults or malfunctions
Adjust equipment and repair or replace defective parts, components, or systems
Test repaired eqipment for proper performance to ensure that the work done meets manufacturer's specifications and legilated regulations
Write service reports
Working Conditions: Mostly indoor work

Good vision, hearing and sense of smell to dianose problems
Physical streangth and stamina
The ability to work in cramped and awkward positions
The ability to work independantly or as part of a team
Mechanical ability and an interest in all types of machinery and engines, electronics and precision equipment
The ability to think logically
The ability to keep up to date with changes in technology
Experience with north american eqipment such as cummins, detroit, cat |
