| Job Description: |
A project planner is required for immediate start on one of the biggest infrastructure projects in Ireland. The planner will be monitoring and updating the project programme on a continuous basis. They will be expected to advise the project managers on the critical path, resource & cost load the programme, and report on progress compared to the baseline programme. As the project develops the planner will work with other members of the team to develop a work package structure complete with milestones. The planner will also liaise with stakeholders to develop objectives, and then turn these into specific deliverables. The planner will assist with tender analysis, review contractors’ progress and be responsible for risk management.
The successful applicant must be personable, with excellent English, and able to build excellent relationships with both the client and the contractors. Well presented, you will have strong technical and report writing skills, including a working knowledge of MS Project. You will also have several years of planning experience, preferably in an infrastructure environment, but certainly involved in civils projects.
