| Job Description: |
Required Experience :
Position will be responsible for supervising/managing/overseeing the following departments: Front Desk, Reservations, EPABX and Guest Services of this world class Hotel/ Resort.
In preparing for this position, candidate ideally will have worked in at least the following departments or positions: Front Office, Guest Services
Requires a minimum of 2 year(s) of supervisory experience.
Requires a minimum of 2 year(s) of experience in a Managerial Level as a FOM or as an Asst. FOM. In a five/four star Luxury hotel/resort.
Approximate full time staff under this position: 15-20
This position reports to: The Unit General Manager
Position will be required to work a varied schedule that may include evenings, nights, and week-ends.
Technical Requirements:
Experience in Front Office including Front Desk, Night Audit, EPBX, Reservations and Guest Services, .
Familiar with Front Office/Reservations training techniques and hands on experience in Fidellio Software package.
Track record in resolving customer complaints to benefit of guests and the property.
Assure guest expectations are exceeded through proper employee training.
Work closely with Housekeeping, Engineering, F&B and Sales to assure groups and special functions are handled smoothly.
Managerial Requirements:
Clear, concise written and verbal communication skills. (English)
cExperience in making presentations in front of groups/ Travel Agents/ Tour Operators.
Track record in promoting an atmosphere of teamwork.
Demonstrate ability to lead by example.
