New Positions for 2007/2008 - Teachers K-9 for Women -
Position. SAIS International Primary School employs a qualified, professionally trained staff. Most of the teachers and the principal are from the United States, Canada or the UK. The remaining faculty members are employed from the local expatriate community. Highly qualified, certified teachers with experience are sought throughout the year. The school uses the American Education System and follows the state of Virginia Curriculum.
WOMEN ONLY (Because all the teachers are women)
4 year college degree (major does not matter)
2 years of actual formal teaching experience in a structured school.
These positions do NOT allow you to take your family.
(They do not have enough housing)
English is the only language required Prefer native English Speakers.
Applicants complete an employment application form and provide copies of:
- College Degree
- Letters of recommendation from past employers.
- Letters or records verifying full time employment.
- Other paperwork that will support their application.
Elementary/Primary teachers for:

No rent, no car payments, medical coverage, tax free salary, other benefits.
The school is part of a large hospital complex with many ex patriots on staff. The school is multi-cultural but English speaking with a maximum of about 250 children in grades K-9 with a principal and 15 teachers. The students are the dependents of doctor's working at the hospital. The students are NOT Saudi Nationals. It is in a modern building and uses the American system with the usual school year from September to June and the usual work day. Classes are small and teachers have time to provide individual attention to the children. This is an easy job.
The position provides the usual months off per school term (mid June to end of August)+ a mid year break (usually more than one month between December to January) Salary & Benefits - Single Status Only (you can not take your family) - Plus ramadan holiday mid October in 07 .
Salary, tax free about $32,000 USD - Free housing, free travel and local transportation. Plus the opportunity to provide private tutoring services for extra income.
Additional part time private employment is probably abundant as a tutor or English Instructor to the large adult community. Make these arrangements privately once you are on site.
