The Opportunity:
Schweitzer Engineering Laboratories (SEL) seeks a professional, innovative and detailed individual for our Sales Account Manager position. If you are looking for an opportunity to utilize your skills and experience to develop account relationships with industrial and utility customers in the Asian market, then this may be the position for you!
SEL is a global manufacturer that provides products and services for the protection, control, automation, integration, communications and metering of electric power systems and have an immediate need requirement for a Sales Account Manager located in China.
You must be eligible to live and work in China to apply for this position. If you have experience in outside technical sales, willing to travel and develop the Asian market with presentations and meetings with potential customers for Schweitzer Engineering, bilingual in Chinese and English.
Sales Account Manager
Responsibilities:- Develop new end users and new sales partners, promote product sales and track progress toward sales goal.
- Provide sales and marketing activities by maintaining regular contact and service with customers.
- Apply SEL products and solutions for loose equipment and project sales.
- Provide customer training and new product instruction.
- Participate in the preparation of technical proposals and bids for new projects.
- Coordinate business activities to plan and organize customer visits, conferences and seminars, and provide customer training.
- Collect, analyze and report customer feedback on products and services.
- Maintain familiarity with company products, setting and testing software.
Qualifications:- B.S. degree in Electrical Engineering and related business experience
- Minimum three years business development and sales experience
- Minimum three years working knowledge of electric power protection and automation
- Excellent presentation, communication and power industrial market development skills
- Strong speaking and writing skills in both English and Chinese
- Ability to travel 50% of working time
- Self-motivated and demonstrated team player
Preferred Qualifications:- Experience using international numerical protection and automation products
