Hello, this is Haeundae ECC. We are located in the most popular area in the city of Busan. Busan is the second largest city in Korea with a population of 3.6 million. It is a coastal city, which is famous for its many beaches. Our school is near Jangsan Subway Station, which is an area where there are many ESL schools. This area is known to be the prime expat area of Busan because of its abundance of foreign teachers. Also, the famous Haeundae Beach is only a short bus ride away. You can spend the hot summer months basking in the sun.
If you would like to consider a smaller and cleaner coastal city near Busan, you can apply for Changwon ECC. The city of Changwon is 30-40 minutes away from Busan. It has a population of 550,000 and it is considered to be the cleanest city in Korea. It was actually modeled after Canberra, the capital of Australia.
Starting Date: first day of class August 30th
Contract Length: 1 year
Salary: 2.0 million to 2.2 million won
Location: Busan Metropolitan City or Changwon City
Students: elementary, 6-12 students per class
Schedule: Monday-Friday up to 26 teaching hours a week
Housing: single studio housing
Paid Vacations: 10 days plus all Korean Nat’l Holidays
Airfare: Round-trip provided
Other Benefits: one month completion bonus, 1/2 medical insurance, pension tax refund for US/Canada citizens
