Trust Manager
Our client is one of the leading firms of business and tax advisors on the rock who are looking to appoint a Trust Manager to join their team in Gibraltar.
Purpose/Outline
The management of trusts and companies is a core activity for the Group. This role in management involves the delivery of Trust and Company Administration Services to principally high net worth clients, and the support and supervision of others in this activity.

• External Service Providers – Bankers, Investment Managers, Asset Managers;
• Internal Service Providers – Banking Clerks, Client Accountants, Central Services
• Departmental Directors/Managers
• Peers and reports.
Attributes and Skills
• Member of STEP or holder of ICSA professional Qualification
• Minimum of 3 years post qualification experience
• Able to network effectively with High Net Worth individuals and their advisers.
• Ability to set targets for self and others and monitor and give appropriate feedback.
• Ability to use Main Office Productivity software. Experience with tables based Trust and Company client administration systems would also be an advantage;
Principal Duties
This list is not intended to be exhaustive and the role may develop as the needs of the business change.
• Liaison with high net worth clients and their advisers using appropriate communications media.
• The administration of a portfolio of trusts and companies for high net worth individuals and their families, including the preparation of correspondence, deeds, contracts, and related documentation.
• Monitoring the performance of assets within client portfolio.
• Initiate payments and transfers of assets in line with agreed and documented decisions.
• Cross sell services within existing portfolio.
• Develop new business
• Supervision of a team of administrators in the management of client entities.
• Complete performance reviews in respect of supervisees. Offer timely and appropriate feedback, and agree personal development plans.
• Act as knowledgeable point of reference on technical matters.
• Contribute to the general management of the division.
Authorities
Act as Director for certain client companies.
“A” authorised signatory in respect of Banking and Payment instructions.
Able to commit Group companies as manager and within procedural guidelines.
