Project experience: Power Plant projects
The Position:
Reporting to the Project Manager and responsible for supervising QC Engineers and Inspectors. Manage the on site QC engineers for inspection of the Permanent Works, including delivered materials, in order to verify conformance with the contract quality requirements.
• Ensure that the quality of the Works conforms with the Project Specification and the company quality standards.
• Manage the site laboratory.
• Co-ordinate with the independent inspection company
• Provide guidance and assistance to all site staff with respect to any aspect of the management system applied to the project.
• Assist project staff in the preparation of quality documentation, such as method statements, inspection & test plans and work procedures
• Monitor the implementation of the Project Quality Plan through document reconciliation and discussion with the site management team.
• Maintain the site facility for filing quality records.
• Maintain document registers in connection with quality records.
• Monitor issue and closeout of corrective and preventive actions.
• Coordinate with the Consultant / Engineer the inspection of permanent works till the final handing over of the project.
Requirements:
• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering
• 10-15 years professional experience
• Familiar with ISO 9001 and its applications
• Familiar with international standards, ASTM, BS, DIN etc.
• Good command of English language
Salary /Package:
