This opening is with a client of ours. It is the world’s largest independent Public Relations firm, and has some 2700 people in 18 offices worldwide. In Asia-Pacific, they have 15 offices.
A senior account executive must have a comprehensive level of understanding of the accounts s/he works on – their business, products, markets, personnel, outside influencers, etc. – and succinctly convey this knowledge to the media and account team members. S/he must also have a solid grasp of all traditional public relations tools, and be able to recommend a variety of strategies and tactics to his/her clients. S/he must be able to work effectively and provide sound counsel with lower levels of client contacts. The senior account executive should have between three and six years of experience and a bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university.

Ø Build relationships with client contacts and provide proactive client counsel
Ø Understand competitive landscape and how it impacts clients
Ø Manage multiple projects for multiple clients from concept to completion on time and on budget
Ø Accurately estimate expenses and time allotment for tasks
Ø Proactively manage client correspondence (i.e. daily updates, activity reports, etc.)
Ø Participate in client presentations
