Responsibilities:
Review of subcontractor pay applications for compliance with subcontract and amounts paid to date
Managing cash flow in a manner that aids growth and maintains strong vendor relations
Timely and accurate recording of transactions, notes, etc. (e.g., AP/ AR/ Invoicing)
Generating appropriate reports on a daily, weekly, monthly and quarterly basis
Working closely with accounting firm to ensure ongoing accuracy of QB entries, reporting, year-end financials, and tax filings
Instituting job costing system(s) in sinc with better utilization of QB functionality
Employing a cost savings approach whenever possible

Skills Required:: |
Knowledge of contracting business dynamics a plus
Commercial Construction experience is mandatory
Commercial Construction experience is mandatory
Proficient in typing and computer, Excel spreadsheets, Word used daily
General secretarial skills such as file set up and filing, copying
Production and detail oriented
Self-motivated
Pleasant “pitch-in” personality
Ability to stay on-task and follow-up and through.
