One of our customer is currently looking for a Digital Designer:
Description:
Working as part of the digital design team within the Mixed-Signal Group the ideal candidate will be responsible for the physical layout and timing-closure of digital macros and their integration within wireless communications chips.
This role covers magma layout, static-timing analysis, and timing-closure.
We are looking for a candidate who has the ability to take a digital netlist and complete all the backend steps necessary to deliver a timing-closed, layout clean hard-macro.
The candidate must be extremely autonomous and have equally strong skills in magma layout and primetime STA.
Knowledge of floorplanning, power routing and ir-drop analysis is a must.
In addition the candidate must have demonstrably strong experience in timing-closure, from creating constraints to sign-off analysis across multiple modes and process corners.
Skills:
• Magma digital layout using BlastFusion including power-routing, floorplanning and ir-drop analysis
• STA using Synopsys Primetime-SI including constraint development and sign-off analysis
• Scripting and tool languages particularly tcl and perl
• Familiarity with Mixed-Signal or Analog designs and Cadence IC Design Environment is an advantage
• Ability and motivation to complete tasks on time while achieving the highest quality
• Ability to define and implement new methods and processes to improve efficiency
• Make critical technical decisions to optimize risks, schedule, and quality of design
• Global team work but with the autonomy to take responsibility for assigned tasks
Degree: Microelectronics or Software degree or equivalent
