Emblemsoft is an high-tech engineering service and recruitment company based in Sophia-Antipolis on the French Riviera and is the French branch of WA Consultants.
One of our customer is currently looking for a GSM Validation Engineer:
Department: Software
Mission: Validation of protocol stack for a GSM/GPRS/EDGE baseband.
Description:
-Write test plans and procedures
-Specify and/or implement specific tools for validation purpose
-Analyse cause of failures by analysing interlayer messages contents
-Proceed to field-tests in collaboration with our customers
-Proceed to product certification
-Provide a strong and reactive support for analysing issues found by customer
Skills:
-GSM/GPRS/EDGE standards (3GPP recommandations)
-Understanding of end-to-end protocol interaction
-Test methodologies for telecommunication system protocol stack
-Software background using variety of software languages and tools, including C, C++, TTCN, debuggers, trace tools, protocol stack testers like CRTU
-Certification requirements
Languages: English mandatory, French is much appreciated
