Responsibilities:
1.Collecting financial data using on-line and other sources;
2.Coordinating and maintaining databases;
3.Creating and maintaining computer spreadsheet models;
4.Listening to and summarizing investment conference calls;
5.Miscellaneous equity projects including writing parts of research reports.
6.Analysing companies based on their published financial statements and annual reports.
7.Making different valuation metrics and their relevance in different sectors/ companies.
Requirements:
1.Bachelor's/Masters degree with a major in accounting or finance.
2.Strong accounting or financial skills required.
3.2+ years of related work experience preferred.
4.Excellent computer skills including: spreadsheets, word processing and graphics.
5.The ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment and strong attention to detail.
6.Analytical skills and an interest in learning about the investment process
7.Excellent verbal and written English and Japanese communication skills.
8.Enrolment in the CFA (AIMR) program will be an added advantage |
