Job Description:
• Work together with vendor on the installation of new servers, and reinstallation of existing servers
• Maintain high availability of servers to meet SLA with our customers by proactively and regularly monitoring server performance and capacity planning
• Implement routine backup / restoration
• Supervising on Network Monitoring activities of our existing network
• Maintenance of Operating Systems such as Windows Server & Linux, inclusive of Service Pack and patches
• Ensure antivirus is in place at all times with latest virus definition file
• Ensure that all applications are running smoothly on servers at all times.
• Weekly (routine) system check of all servers
• Provide sufficient documentations for all works done
• Maintain up-to-date and accurate asset inventory / movement of equipment
• Recommend / report to management on weakness of systems, for continuous improvement
• Provide monthly report on systems performance / information to management
• Create, maintain and practice best practice escalation process
• Provide accurate technical documentation on systems setup, and configuration
• Assist Sales and Marketing team from time to time in systems integration solutions for new or existing business opportunities
• Able to provide solution presentation to potential operators/customers
• Act as technical writer to produce technical documentation as business material
• Provide End user support
• Provide training for end users / Operator when necessary
Requirements:
• Excellent communication skills, both written and oral in English
• Able to produce structured and presentable documentation.
• Possess a valid degree in IT related field with at least 2 years practical experience
• Enthusiastic and able to work with minimum supervision
• Positive thinking and self motivated
• Team player
• Excellent analytical skills
• Able to work under pressure
• Willing to travel overseas for short assignments |
