Project Control Manager – 1 x UAE and 1 x Qatar
Ref: 3894
The company:

The company’s evolution over the past 50 years is reflected in its continuing record of achievements performing major civil, marine, industrial and electromechanical projects.
Principal accountabilities:
1. Implements, and maintains cost control, and provides centralized planning/scheduling function on medium to large size projects
2. Analyzes, evaluates, and forecasts current status against an established baseline schedule. Assesses the impact of design or construction changes and schedule slippages
3. Manages a team of Project Control Engineers who are qualified to analyze, evaluate, and forecast project costs, as well as performance against an established schedule with critical milestones
4. Preparation of Interim Valuations and measurements.
5. Preparation of List of Project Materials.
6. Preparation of all project deliverables (based on the Contract Documents) and
data as required by the Construction Sections.
7. Coordination of planning, scheduling and monitoring of construction activities.
8. Preparation of method statements for the site activities in cooperation with the Section Head Engineers.
9. Preparation of technical & internal reporting as required
10. Preparation of Close Out reports at the end of project.
Skills required:
• B.Sc. in engineering discipline from accredited University or equivalent.
• Experience in the construction industry and experience in Project Controls dealing with the subjects described above.
• An awareness of cost and contractual issues.
• Excellent leadership, communication and presentation skills.
• Proficient PC skills including in various software used by Project Controls Department, such as Excel, Primavera P3. Knowledge of Primavera Expedition is a plus.
