Hou Liang Architecture is presently looking for one to two interns to work in their downtown office in Shanghai. This is a great chance to work and live in China’s most dynamic city.
Hou Liang is a well-known and upcoming architect. He develops his unique way of thinking towards architecture, landscape and urbanism and obtains a reputation as an architect who is youthful yet confident, creative but pragmatic experimental and elaborates. The office is composed of a small team working mainly on international competitions. As intern, you will be working closely with the principal, assisting in various task from schematic design to design development in a fast pace environment.
Applicants should be:
-Fluent in English
-Graduate or in their 4-5th year in their program
-Have strong communication skills, both oral and written
-Hands-on mentality (quick at building models and capable at hand drawing)
-Good knowledge of Autocad and Photoshop
-Knowledge of 3D programs is a plus (3D max even better)
-no 9-to-5 mentality
Dates:
Internship can start as soon as possible and is valid all year round. It is preferred if interns could commit to work with them for a period of at least four months.
