Duties and Responsibilities:
The Planning Engineer is assisting the Technical Office Manager in terms of planning, invoicing, controlling and reporting in co-operation with the Financial & Administrative Section.
This includes but is not limited to:
Ensure the establishment of all necessary procedures, resources, software, control tools relevant to Project Planning task.
Establish, maintain and update the Construction Schedule
Establish and maintain a data collecting system for planning, invoicing, controlling and reporting.
Prepare the contractually foreseen reports as well as the progress reports as per the company's standing orders.
Ensure proper control over the Project performance and compare to the Project Budget and Tender estimate.
Minimum requirements:
B.Sc in Civil Engineering. (or equivalent)
Site experience in Planning Engineering (ideally in heavy infrastructure projects), some of which at supervisory level.
Professional accreditation with an internationally recognised body. (Preferred).
Good knowledge and awareness of other project discipline activities.
Well-developed technical knowledge and understanding of execution methodology.
Good co-ordination and presentation skills.
Assertive personality, sensitive to multi-cultural, multi-national environments.
Computer literacy in Word and Excel.
