Valuation Risk Controller, AVP – Global Investment Bank (Singapore)
$100K - $130K
This exciting role allows you to achieve excellence by identifying, analyzing, mitigating and reporting risks in the valuation of the firm's financial instruments. The Valuations Group develops and shares its knowledge of analytical modelling, valuation principles and valuation systems to collaborate across the bank in achieving its goals. Products will include all areas including equities, fixed income, credit and asset backed/structured products.
You will be involved in handling price testing function for various areas of the bank. You will look at performance and analysis of price testing results, and liaise with product control, global Valuations group and the Front Office. You will analyse performance of structured trade reviews for complex derivatives including trade bookings, models used, market data and generation of risk, and ensure breakdown of booking, replicates the overall trade structure.
You should be degree qualified in a mathematical based field (e.g. maths, engineering, physics). You should have 5 years of relevant experience, in valuations, or a related area. A post graduate degree or professional qualification in financial maths or related subject will be advantageous (e.g. MFE, FRM). You should possess analytical ability, good communication, leadership and organisational skills. A basic derivatives knowledge, price-testing/product control and valuation experience in an investment bank is an absolute advantage.
