Application Engineer - seeking a highly professional customer focused Application Engineer to join our Customers Support & Training team. The successful candidate will live in the Boston area and serve as a support and training engineer for our US and Canada clients. He/She will provide comprehensive training of the applications to new customers. He/She will be responsible for providing prompt, online, and in-field support to our users, while achieving the highest possible level of customer satisfaction. He/She will maintain a high level of technical expertise in all aspects of the products, including the biological, computerized and optical features of the application.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
· Training of new customers to successfully operate the systems
· Installation of systems in customers sites
· Demonstrating system and applications
· Supporting existing users by installing, fine-tuning, and maintaining systems and applications

Skills Required:: |
Requirements
· Bachelor’s degree in life science or related fields.
Familiarity with Cytogenetics, Flourescene In-situ Hybridization (FISH), Cell Morphology, and Immunostaining analysis is an advantage.
Computer experience utilizing Microsoft Office, and Visual Studio.
Ability to understand computer algorithms and to tune parameters.
Outstanding ability to explain, demonstrate and present new biological and technical concept to new users.
Excellent interpersonal and communication (verbal and written) skills.
Ability to troubleshoot and resolve technical issues.
