Our client is a foreign exchange company, the 2nd largest in Europe. As a company they have Bureau de Change outlets throughout the U.K. with a great presence at the major UK airports , they are also completely unique in being a sole distributor for the Royal Mint overseas.
This is a new business role, opening up referral contacts in real estate firms, law firms, promoters etc in the Mallorca region. The job is to contact the above businesses and explain why they should refer clients to them, the main benefit to these companies is that their clients end up saving lots of money, invariably it gives the referring company more control in the house purchase process as the funds can be traced more effectively and also the company receives a commission for referring them.
Whilst the initial call will be on the phone, you will then go and make a presentation to the company, get them to sign an Introducing Brokers agreement and keep regular contact with them to ensure the referrals start coming through. As the months and years progress this role will become more about Account Development than new business.
You must be living in Mallorca, or be able to move there immediately, and have excellent geographical knowledge of the island, any languages as well as fluent English would be an obvious advantage. You will be exceptionally professional, have strong new business and good account management skills, used to selling to other businesses, have a driving licence. Strong at presentations, very smart appearance. Clean driving licence, must be able to work from home, self starters.
Salary
The salary is €30,000 pa plus commission of around €15000 pa, this is very achievable, basically the more referrals your clients make the more money you can make. There is an expensed car, laptop, mobile phone, hours are flexible given the role but a minimum of 9-6pm Monday to Friday.
