Web Developer
Location: Hertford (Sg14 1as)
Salary: £18-24k depending on skills and experience

My client is a web development agency based in Hertford. We are a full service agency and produce interactive communications across a number of channels including web, intranet, extranet, CD and DVD-ROM and e-commerce. We work across a number of sectors including financial, recruitment, travel and pharmaceutical.
They are now looking to recruit a graduate calibre Web Developer to join us, to work with our design and content team and support our technical director.
As a Web Developer, you will be responsible for coding web sites and web based applications using a variety of technologies including PHP, ASP.NET, SQL and JavaScript. Typically this would mean working from a design document and provided HTML templates.
They are an expanding team and the successful candidate will have the opportunity to grow with the company. There is opportunity to develop your skills and experience in a hard working but fun environment.
Essential Skills
• One of PHP, ASP (classic or .NET), Perl
• One of Microsoft SQL Server, MySQL or Postgres
• Hand coding (X)html
• Literate
• Numerate
Desirable Skills
• JavaScript
• CSS
• Database Design
The candidate must be a European Passport Holder living in the UK. Work VISA would NOT be sponsored. |
