| Job Description: |
Information Technology (IT) is responsible for all aspects of computer operations and technical support at Group. IT has several departments, including Systems and Programming, Model Office, Technology and Support Services. Associates in these areas develop and maintain application systems using leading-edge technology to give Group a competitive advantage in the industry. The Senior Web Administrator is responsible for the support and maintenance of Group’s multiple websites. Duties include installing software, monitoring uptime, producing reports, capacity planning, and 24-hour/7-day support.
At present we are placing only in USA and should have a valid H1, Green Card or a USA Citizen. |
Skills Required:: |
Job Requirements
· Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience and/or education;
· Successful completion of an analytical aptitude exam;
· Five years experience supporting a multi-tiered corporate web site;
· Strong scripting experience (shell, perl, tcl, or python);
· Advanced knowledge and experience in Linux (may consider high-end experience in AIX and/or Solaris operating system and hardware);
· Production and customer focus;
· At least two years of experience running an Apache webserver;
· Expert level knowledge of administrating BEA’s Weblogic or IBM’s WebSphere Application Server;
· Experience with JAVA;
· Familiarity with NT, networking protocols, and general web programming languages;
· Strong communication and analytical skills;
· Good understanding of the software development process;
· Willingness and ability to grasp new technologies; and
· Ability to perform multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
Preferred Qualifications
· Experience developing Interwoven TeamSite work flows;
· Experience with Borland’s Starteam Source Control product; and
· Experience with IntroScope or other Web and WebApplication monitoring tools.
