We are searching for a Software Architect (homeoffice possible), having following know-how: Software engineering methodologies, broad knowledge of software development including the relevant technologies, processes, method and principles (e.G. SOA, MDA, application generators, CMM, TDD), experience with OOA and OOD by use of UML and MDA within iterative evolutionary engineering processes, proven knowledge of OOP by use of MS Visual Studio .NET (VB, C#) and programming knowledge by use of MS Visual Studio (Visual Basic, Visual C++), .NET Framework, Java, Java Script. Knowledge of the current development environments and CASE tools like Visual Studio, Eclipse, Together, JUnit, etc., Web Technologies for the development of distributed object oriented multi-tier applications and web applications, Web Architecture,
.NET, XML Web Services, ASP.NET, SOAP, WSDL, UDDI, Client Technologies HTML, XML, DOM, XHTML, Stylsheets, XSL, XSLT, Server Technologies HTTP, SSI, ASP, IIS, ADO, ODBC, Apache, Tomcat, Business Process Modelling, BPMS, BPEL, ESB. You are familiar with the use of RDBS, especially MySQL, SQL and MS Access and you have knowledge of ODBS, knowledge of operating systems Windows XP, 2000, 2003 Server. Knowledge of .Net and J2EE with common application server JBoss, Tomcat or IBM WebSphere. In depth experience in building of Enterprise Software Architecture and distributed n-tier applications. Good knowledge in IT network.
Tasks:
Working within the engineering process for the development of complex, distributed software systems, verification of the specified requirements with respect to unambiguousness, completeness, free of conflicts, feasibility, comprehensibility, testability, etc., development of the at the time state-of-the-art main architecture style based on the specified requirements and transformation of the functional and non-functional requirements into the most suitable, consistent and future proven architecture. Modelling of the most suitable architecture to fulfil market requirements in spite of technical constraints, steady assessment of the specified requirements versus the intended architecture in respect of costs and effort, assessment of comparable system and software architectures by scoring tables, assessment of third-party components for the decision-making "make or buy", designing of reusable architecture based on existing platforms, integration of new technologies and innovative methods of resolution, elaboration of basics and development of prototypes, continuously improvement of the process during the development effort.
