| Job Description: |
We are seeking professional consultants with expertise in Oracle PL/SQL Development. Currently, we are seeking Oracle PL/SQL consultants to assist in the design and implementation of Oracle Portal based projects.
Responsibilities:
* System analysis, design and development of back-end PL/SQL applications
* Strong Oracle PL/SQL programming and SQL tuning skills
* Good coding practices using PL/SQL
* Manage development and release lifecycle
* Document functional and technical specifications for the application
* Co-ordinate with the Operations team to setup and release applications
* Responsible for trouble shooting the performance issues on the application backend
At present we are placing only in USA and should have a valid H1, Green Card or a USA Citizen. |
Skills Required:: |
* Minimum 4 years programming using PL/SQL, Oracle 9i/10g with a total of 5-7 years in database programming
* Must have PL/SQL experience on large Oracle 9i/10g (multi-TB) Solaris systems or equivalent Unix systems
* Strong knowledge of advanced Oracle 9i/10g PL/SQL features
* Understanding Data Warehouse Architecture - concepts and experience with high volume data processing is an advantage
* Demonstrated proficiency of troubleshooting techniques and detail-oriented problem diagnosis at different levels including application and data
* Experience with advertising/web-click stream applications is a significant plus
* Ability to write specification and deployment documents for new releases
* Strong knowledge of source control and release management tools
* Oracle certification is an advantage but not necessary
* Knowledge of Unix Operating system (Solaris) is a plus
* Working knowledge in one or more of TOAD, AppWorx OLAP and Business Intelligence technologies is a plus
