Position: Account Manager - Greece

Salary: 100 000 per annum (50 000 base salary & 50 000 OTE)
Our client a leading international IT intrusion prevention and security risk management company with head offices in the United States offering computer security to large enterprises, governments, small and medium sized businesses, and consumers is looking to employ an Account Manager in Athens, Greece.
The purpose of the position will be:
To manage direct end user relationships on behalf of the company to deliver value based solutions which utilise the companys products and solutions in Greece.
To maximize revenue potential of the companys products within assigned Channel Partner in this territory.
To work with the companys partners to equip and enable resellers to offer the solutions to the prior bank market.
The main responsibilities will be to:
Exceed quarterly and annual targets.
Oversee and develop the Field Sales operation for the product suite.
Meet quarterly/annual sales quota objectives which constitute a growing percentage of the annual turnover.
Identify and resolve issues that impede the business relationship between the company and assigned accounts including Channel Partners
Identify and develop successful long-term opportunities and partnerships.
Manage all business relationships with accounts, and provide a focal point for day-to-day business issues.
Conduct business planning to achieve revenue goals and define future developments in sales strategy.
The ideal candidate will have:
Demonstrable track record of high value sales to and through large organisations
Broad understanding of the various vertical markets
Proven track record of developing a channel to market
Detailed knowledge of IT - Security sector experience is an advantage
Understanding of how to work with integrity through an indirect sales channel model
Broad appreciation of the Information Service Management market
Understanding of and demonstrable track record of utilising a recognised sales methodology
Fluency in English spoken and written skills
A determined attitude to succeed
A self starter needing low level management time and attention to perform day to day responsibilities
Engages management at all levels within a named client base to enhance political alignment
Experienced, competent and comfortable with Board Level negotiations
Competent and experienced in the application of Target Account Selling (TAS) methodology or other Sales/Business methodologies (Miller Heiman, Powerbase, SPIN, JAWS)
Understands the market issues and trends affecting business and use of IT
Must be computer literate with email, Internet, word processing and spreadsheets ( CRM / Siebel knowledge )
Diligent, self-motivated and results orientated individual with strong personal presence and excellent interpersonal skills
