Service Manager
Our Client one of the worlds largest online gaming organisations are seeking a Service Manager.
This is an exciting opportunity to join a growing company, operating in an exciting and dynamic marketplace, and truly make an impact on the success of the business
Major Duties And Responsibilities
• Change Management (50%)
O Assists with the creation of a Change Process and CAB.
O Receives RFCs and ensures that they are properly recorded in the change log.
O Reviews, updates, and validates RFCs.
O Prepares CAB meeting agendas and provides all necessary review information to the CAB members prior to board meetings.
O Escalates RFCs that the CAB cannot decide to the IT executive committee.
O Approves minor changes unless they are also emergency changes.
O Provides change notification to change initiator and other affected parties.
O Monitors the successful completion of all RFCs to ensure that the processes used follow the change schedule.
O Produces operational statistical reporting on the Change Process.
• Configuration Management (20%)
O Assists with the creation of a CMDB.
O Liaises with all IT Deptments to ensure the CMDB is maintained and accurate
O Performs audits in conjunction with the Data Centre staff.
• Release Management (20%)
O Manages the overall release process.
O Coordinates all project teams associated with the release.
O Acts as a liaison to appropriate management.
O Acceptance and review of change deliverables from implemented projects.
O Ensure that releases are implemented according to schedule.
O Assist IT staff with issues resultant from Change / Releases.
• Service Level Management (10%)
O Creation and maintenance of the Service Catalogue.
O Liaise with all departments to ascertain Service performance.
O Report on Service Level Performance.
Qualifications And Experience
Essential
• ITIL practitioner certified (release and control)
• Extensive Change and Configuration Management experience
• CAB management experience
• Release management experience
• Service Level management experience
• Capacity management experience
• Management/Team Leader experience
Technical
• Understanding of Change / Release / Configuration technologies
• Understanding of technical components and technical interdependencies
Our client offers a bonus, healthcare and a very competitive salary.
