Portal Operations Manager
Our Client is rapidly creating a worldwide community of members who enjoy a truly unique range of gaming and gambling products offering unrivalled entertainment and value.
The rapid growth of our business has created an opportunity for a highly experienced Portal Operations Manager. This technically oriented position is responsible for establishing and maintaining systems and associated work processes to provide an industry leading web based network.
Key Responsibilities / Activities
• Consultant: Consult with business heads and managers to maximise the way our client presents its products, services and competitive advantage;
• Engineer: Develop and organise the structure of web products, ensuring high standards of usability, accuracy and robustness;
• Advocate: Reach out to audience groups (players, members, business partners, and employees) to determine their needs, and act as an advocate to ensure that addresses those needs through the web products;
• Train: Participate in the training of Member Service staff in the use of web products
• Visionary: Anticipate and look toward the future, analysing and proposing new ways we might use the web to carry out its mission more efficiently and effectively.
• Project Manager: Develop project plans including tasks to be performed, task estimates, and targeted completion dates. Provide project monitoring feedback to Business Units and senior management. Prioritise projects with input from senior management.
Experience / Qualifications Requirements
• Minimum of five (5) years experience in a senior project or web management role
• Minimum of two (2) years experience in managing a large community focused commercial web site
Skills / Competencies
• Demonstrated expert knowledge of computer and web based technologies.
• Demonstrated ability to build, manage and motivate a team
• Demonstrated leadership skills and a willingness to be accountable.
• Strong coordination and project management skills
• Excellent interpersonal and facilitation skills
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Results oriented and a willingness to get involved at a practical level when required
• Strong negotiation and influencing skills
• Ability to communicate at all levels of corporate management, partner organisations and industry associations.

Salary: £45K - £55K
