We are looking for a Senior Resident Engineer for one of our landmark office development projects here in Bahrain. The candidate must be a Chartered Engineer and have at least 12 years experience in performing the role of Resident Engineer.
In summary it involves taking on the role of Engineer on behalf of our International Client as defined under the FIDIC Red Book form of construction contract. He will be responsible for administering the FIDIC construction contract between the client and the construction contractor and for monitoring the contractor`s progress, the quality of workmaship and materials and H&S. He will also manage the interface between our clients` design team and the contractor with regards to exchange of design and construction information. In carrying out the role he will be responsible for a team of our clients RE/ARE`s, architects, engineers and inspectors.
This is a key position for us requiring a high-calibre candidate. |
