Our client is a leading pharmaceutical and healthcare distribution and logistics
specialist currently looking for a
Business Development Executive / Manager
Focus:
. Business development
. Exploitation of full customer potential (existing customers)
. Project management for implementation of new businesses
. Conceptualisation of new business models/services
. Market research and data analysis
Duties and Responsibilities:
. Communicates the value of the company's solutions.
. Prepare and present logistics proposals.
. Work on RFQ/RFI and SOPs to ensure Company and Customers' expectations are in alignment.
. Build and maintain good business relationship with Customers.
. Create and implement initiatives to support Customers' relationships and grow new integrated accounts and revenue.
. Promote Customer relations, acquire new business, develop the existing client base and lead the account management.
. Develop and implement account plans for major accounts.
. Liaise/coordinate with the company internally to deliver total business solutions.
. Assist in initial implementation of new account and resolve any issues.
. Work closely with operations team to ensure operational aspects are effectively and efficiently planned and executed to meet Customers’ expectations.
. Conduct market research on business potentials.
. Ensure in-depth evaluation of all potential accounts and proposals are thoroughly done.
. Monitor market trends and competitors’ activities in order to identify new business opportunities.
. Other projects as assigned. |
Skills Required:: |
. Degree qualified preferably in industrial engineering.
. Solid understanding of the theory and practice of supply chain management, transportation management in particular.
. At least 2 years relevant experience within a 3PL or equivalent service provider.
. Preferably with experience in a healthcare environment.
. A working knowledge of ERP/WMS systems.
. Excellent communication and presentation skills
. Project management skills
. Planning and organising skills
. GMP/ISO awareness
. High level of literacy in MS Office applications
