Job Description
Responsible to support the ongoing maintenance activities of the database environment for the DemandTec application
Responsibilities:
-Execute backup/restore of databases and archive logs
-Monitor capacities and utilization of production database systems
-Evaluate and execute all non-application initiated queries
-Investigate and resolve all database crashes, failures, and unexpected behavior
-Planning and Execution of database maintenance, including Reorgs,Deletes .... |
Skills Required:: |
Minimum Requirements
-2 years of DBA experience
-3 years Scripting experience (perl, shell script)
-Advanced Level SQL experience
-Proficiency with Linux Red Hat Operating System and the shell environment
-Ability to produce reports and collaborate with coworkers.
-Good written and oral English communication skills |
