| Job Description: |
Produce management reports including design of reports and templates for each business segment and reporting area.
Report on actual budget forecast compared to business case targets and assess impact to cost, savings, scope, or timing.
Analyse monthly/quarterly results- highlight potential risks and provide mitigation recommendations to Group Financial Controller.
Systems projects (implementation, enhancements, integration).
Perform detailed analysis on project ledger.
Reconciliation of G/L.
Support Financial Controller in all aspects but in particular to gather, analyze and track financial and related business information from various initiatives.
Assist in negotiations with banks and other sources of financing in pursuing the companys interests. |
Skills Required:: |
A recognized international accounting designation (CA, CMA, CGA, CPA, etc.).
A degree in business, finance, economics or accounting preferred.
An investment qualification (i.E., Series 7, Canadian Securities Course or CFA) would be useful.
3 years experience in the financial services or auditing industry.
Strong written and verbal communication skills are essential.
Strong PC skills, particularly with database and spreadsheet applications.
Knowledge of Great Plains and Crystal Reports would be useful.
