Fund Accounting Manager
Job Summary
Managing special projects as prescribed by the Fund Accounting Director from inception to integration into operations, including training and the writing of procedures. These special projects will be a result of the management team identifying areas of improvement in current process. This person will also be an internal auditor for the group; performing spot checks, suggesting process improvements and liaising with internal and external auditors.
Job Duties
1. Centralising all procedures and workflows across the Fund group to ensure consistency.
2. Identify process improvements and managing these improvements until they are integrated into the group.
3. Writing procedures for new processes and updating current procedures.
4. Liaising with management and the training department to ensure that training needs are identified and completed in a timely manner.
5. Perform spot checks on current procedures to ensure they are being adhered to.
6. Be a point of contact when an internal audit is being conducted on group funds
7. Ensure internal and external Audit packs are complete and accurate.
8. Assist managers and senior managers in the preparation and in the conduct of internal and external audits.

| Skills Required: |
Degree required – preferred business/accounting/finance concentration. 4-6 years experience, financial services preferred. 2-3 years supervisory experience required. Strong organisational and interpersonal skills necessary. |
