| Job Description: |
Responsible for the SAP Active Directory Service (ADS) and Domain Name Service (DNS) infrastructure located in various locations in Africa, Middle-East, Europe and/or other parts of the world. Collaboration and communication with the ADS/DNS team in IT Support Centers is essential to ensure the operation is running smoothly within the agreed Service Level Agreements (SLA).
Tasks:
Collaboratively operate the ADS and DNS infrastructure, including core services as well as servers deployed in countries throughout our clients site by:
Monitoring services and servers
Resolveing failures and outages in collaboration with local IT and Support Centre Staff
Required to escalate to and involve the ADS/DNS Support Centre Teams if required
Resolving Issues within SLAs
Achieve excellent customer satisfaction
Understanding of System management of both Intel based and RISC based servers, Most desirable experience in HP (formerly Compaq) servers, PERL, Microsoft Scripting Host, Other Scripting Languages. Microsoft Windows 2000 (Advanced Server, Active Directory Service, Domain Name Service, Windows Information Name Service)
UNIX and/or LINUX
Domain Name Service (DNS) in general
ISC BIND
Windows 2003 Active Directory
