Our client is looking for Contract SQL Server (2000/2005) DBA. The role is based in Manchester, close to city centre and is for initial 6 month contract.
Role:
Database Management of Production Environment
Security Management
Test and Development
Support for Infrastructure issues
Out of hours support if necessary
Configuration and Tuning of Queries
Network Management using third party vendors
Infrastructure Management
Improve and Document Processes

Skills Required:: |
Third Level Degree or higher in relevant subjects
SQL Server 2000/05 Enterprise, T-SQL, DTS, Windows 2003 (required)
Recovery, Backup, High availability, Optimisation and Tuning
Windows Clustering
Microsoft Certification an advantage
Good Network Knowledge in TCP/IP
