Job Responsibilities:
1) Serve as Project Director for large, complex and global programs
2) Supervise and mentor Associate Directors, Managers and other reports
3) Oversee hiring of new personnel within group
4) Serve as Project Manager
5) Ensure efficient interaction between Clinical Research and other departments
6) Track headcount needs and availability
7) Participate in proposal meetings with potential clients
8) Review and approve business development proposals
9) Contribute to operational excellence by identifying best practices,
10) Participate actively in project review sessions and make recommendations to senior management
Job Requirements:
1) Bachelor’s degree (advanced degree preferred)
2) 10 years of clinical research experience (8 years with an MD/Ph. D)
3) 4 years of project management experience
4) Oncology or neurology or infectious disease experience (preferred)
5) Experience in supervising Project Managers or Associate Directors
6) Excellent communication skills (written and oral)
7) Demonstrated ability to lead a diverse and growing employee population
8) Willingness to travel – up to 20%
