| Job Description: |
My client is one of the worlds leading providers of asset servicing and asset management solutions, but also a company well known for unique culture and relationship with their staff. They are currently looking for an ambitious individual to join the Fund Accounting BPA team.
New Business Analyst will act as a representative for the operational areas on new fund launches for existing clients. The Analyst will take part in the project from the start date to completion (live) plus 1 week. The Analyst will be involved in Client take on, exits, restructures as well as actively managing the approval process for New Funds and subsequent fund launch.
Principle Responsibilities:
Co-ordinate client transitions for existing clients between the operational areas (Fund Accounting, Transfer Agency, Financial Reporting, Pricing, Risk & Control) and client services, or direct with the client along with client relationship manager.
Organise operational working groups regular update meetings and creating project plan/transition document.
Manage client-recording mechanism, which identifies operational ownership and acts as outstanding log.
Actively manage the new fund approval process, including the circulation of all details to the operational areas and the monitoring of the replies via the tracking file.
Maintain the weekly new business schedule updating it with new approved fund launches, revisions to existing launch dates, headcounts etc.
Assist in any new procedures/process flows, which are to be introduced.
Identify and act on opportunities to improve current procedures/processes to meet changing requirements of clients and operation areas.
Set up model library of reports/documentation, this can be provided by the Operational areas. This template can be provided to clients at initiation of project.
Experience:
2-4yrs Experience in similar role (e.g. Experience of working in the fund operations or project management department of a Fund Administration company).
Evidence of successful completion of tasks.
Working well within a team.
