Principal Accountabilities
To create compelling graphic design that:
A) Is on-brand and confidently reflects the personality of the company.
B) Helps to deliver the underlying message rather than distracting the reader
C) Interprets and evidences understanding of the customer’s brief
D) Is supported by good communications skills – to tease the essential truths out of a brief or out of the customer if the brief fails to deliver those messages.
E) Delivers a ‘wow’ factor by developing concepts that take the customers’ work to a higher level.

| Skills Required: |
Experience Required
Minimum three years of graphic design preferred.
Excellent practical and theoretical knowledge of design and of all the supporting hardware and software.
Excellent working knowledge of design, artwork and reprographics, and in the use of software including QuarkXPress 6.5 and Photoshop, Acrobat and Illustrator (CS2 Suite) to assist and learn in preparing artwork for colour separation.
Knowledge of online software, systems and production – such as Fireworks, Flash, Dreamweaver, HTML code.
Comprehensive knowledge of the commercial printing industry.
Education & Professional Qualifications
Ideally educated to A-level standard (or equivalent)
Relevant art or design qualifications essential. |
