We are currently representing a well-established shipbuilding and repairs company seeking for a competent Project Manager (Ship-building) to ensure projects are executed successfully within contractual schedule, budget and in accordance with technical specification and to customer’s satisfaction.

Project Manager-Ship Building
(Based in Bintan , Indonesia)
Our client is a well-established shipbuilding and repairs company. To support its growth plans in Singapore and Indonesia, they wish to attract a competent Project Manager (Ship-building) to ensure projects are executed successfully within contractual schedule, budget and in accordance with technical specification and to customer’s satisfaction.
Reporting directly to the General Manager (Operations), this position will have to play an active role in cost control, safety control, quality control and enforcing discipline of workers. Other responsibilities include customer relationship building, procurement of project materials, hiring of staff and development of subordinates.
The ideal candidate should be a degree holder in engineering discipline Naval Architecture with at least 5 years of relevant experience. The right candidate should have the ability to strategically plan, forecast and manage the workforce in the yard. You will have proven leadership; interpersonal skills; able to work under pressure; hardworking; honest and able to create close rapport with clients. Able to speak fluent English is a must for this role.
