Senior Transport Planner – Australia

A24 Site is currently seeking a Senior Transport Planner/Engineer for Melbourne, Australia.
A24 Site’s client is one of the UK’s leading independent multi-disciplinary Engineering Consultancy firms - a forward thinking transport planning consultancy with a focus on sustainable transport issues and the environment.
Continued growth across Australia and New Zealand has now created the opportunity for an enthusiastic Senior Transport Planner/Engineer to join the highly successful Melbourne office on a full-time basis.
A degree or equivalent qualification in an appropriate Engineering, Transport, or Planning discipline is required and a Chartered or equivalent professional membership.
The successful candidate will have a minimum of 10 years’ experience in transport/traffic planning including project management, ideally gained in both public and private sectors, with a focus on planning for sustainable modes within urban areas and a genuine interest in sustainable transport solutions.
Excellent written and communication skills, including the proficient use of MS Office software, are essential together with extensive experience of writing reports and presenting analysis in a written format.
Additional skills in client liaison and business development will be an advantage. And will be a team player capable of working independently and producing work to a high standard.
