Our client is a real estate developer in Abu Dhabi (U.A.E). They are a semi government organization currently handling projects worth 40 billion USD.
The position involves the management of a Design team and consultants. Experience handling design teams doing masterplanning would be essential.
The exact responsibilities are as below
1. Undertake and oversee the preparation of design briefs on all levels such as master plans, way finding, street furniture, graphic, animations etc
2. Deliver high level presentations and explain design proposals to Partners/Owners.
3. Critique proposals and place/benchmark them in the wider context of the design and design intent.
4. Conceptualise and develop solutions and improvements to satisfy Partner/Owner requirements.
5. Select and oversee design consultants to meet the needs of organization.
6. Manage and develop the Design Team to ensure the required skills and resources are available at all times to meet the needs of the business.
7. Lead with the management of all projects to ensure a consistently high standard of delivery.
8. Manage budgets and resources to ensure cost efficiency and a high level of quality and service.
