Our client, a leading IT Consultancy requires a network engineer to work on several external sites to install, configure and support external networks. He/She will ensure the smooth operation of networks and will provide maximum performance and accessibility for all users.
Duties to include
Installing, configuring, and maintaining networking equipment in the enterprise WAN & LAN environments
Providing network support
Participate in 7 x 24 x 365 on-call support.
Escalation support for network problems and customer issues
Identifying technologies and alternative systems to increase security
Assist with network management
Automation of processes
Identifying operational issues and implementing appropriate fixes

Skills Required:: |
Knowledge of Cisco Systems
Minimum of 3 years experience of working on LAN's & WAN's
VoIP
Active Directory
Professional certification desirable
