Position Title: Accountant
Location: Greene, Ny
Description: Under limited supervision, the incumbent will be involved in the consolidation and
Financial reporting of various domestic and foreign subsidiaries and assist in the monthly
Financial closing process at the corporate level.
Responsibilities:
• Assist in the preparation of forecasts and budgets
• Participate in coordination of the external audit
• Prepare in-depth financial and operational analyses
• Perform reviews of new US and International accounting and financial reporting
Pronouncements
• Participate in corporate income tax issues
• Provide accounting related advice and counsel to other departments/divisions
• Research, analyze, review and/or reconcile various general ledger accounts
• Analyze current practices and procedures and makes recommendations for change
• Team Leader responsibility for major/complex projects
• Exchange information and resolve sensitive complex issues with high level
Management and professionals from outside organizations including auditing firms
Qualifications:
1. BS in Accounting
2. Five (5) years of accounting experience
3. PC skills, Project management skills and knowledge of Us Gaap
4. Public Accounting experience related to preparation and review of consolidated
Groups and multifunctinal financial statements
5. Well versed in technical US GAAP research tools and techniques
